Get to know Naiche's Parrot Place

My passion in birds started when I was in high school. I was allowed to get my first parakeet. His name was Cupid, and I had to be patient, and hand tame him. He was a really cool start to birds. In my early adult life, I was working at a small local pet store, who taught me so much more about larger birds. I also learned how to properly handfeed them. My interest grew, and I ended up with a baby quaker parrot named Meeko. I hand raised him and had a blast training him. He was an amazing little bird with spunk. A few years later I became involved with a local parrot rescue, and immediately started volunteering, and fostering. I loved to learn and help these birds find their homes. It was a great experience. Years later I met someone who became my close friend. She introduced me to free flight, which brings me to where I am today. I am a proud mom of three beautiful macaws. Naiche, a red fronted macaw, who I raised from a very young chick. Jewel a catablu macaw, who came to me as an older almost weaned baby. Last is Ellie, a rescue red fronted macaw, who claimed me as her person at our first meeting.

We started this business out of love for our birds, and their needs. We make all of these toys in a bird free environment. We are passionate about helping other “parronts” spice up their parrots lives through enrichment, such as parrot toys, foraging and more.
